At least for me, the coexistence of different branches of math and the great variety in difficulty of questions is precisely what makes this site interesting. It is refreshing to alternate between tricky questions in area A (about which I know something) and basic questions in area B (about which I know very little). If the site were to be divided at all, I'd rather see it split by purpose, as reddit: they have /r/learnmath and /r/cheatatmathhomework . The former bans "Do this for me" posts; the latter takes everything.
