Recently (more than 24 hours have passed) one of my answers got deleted, as collateral damage.

However, it is strange that my points +98 (10-2) have not been revoked. In my experience when I was deleting my answers (which have been plenty mind you), by myself, the rating points associated to my answers were nullified. However, this is the first time one of my answers have been deleted because the question was deleted.

This must be a bug, right? I hope I am not jumping the gun here.

  • $\begingroup$ @JohnMa Oh cool, I didn't know about this feature. I am not sure how I feel about this, as the losing of reputation would be a good deterrent answering questions that have been deemed worthy of deletion. I can see the point of the feature, however. $\endgroup$
