I've recently asked this question on Math SE and upon not receiving any answers, offered a bounty to draw attention. The question has attracted a reasonable number of up and no down-votes, so I'd say its as "good" question, according to the guideline.

As no answers have been posted, the bounty has expired. My question is if it might now be sensible to migrate this question to MathOverflow (and if not, why), as I expect the possibility of someone posting an answer to be higher, even though I am just a maths student, not a professional, by any means.

$\begingroup$ The title concerns questions, but the body concerns only one specific question (so the "specific-question" tag should probably be employed, after dropping one of the five tags currently used). It can't hurt to post to MO, just be sure to include a link to the post at m.se if you do. $\endgroup$ – Gerry Myerson Jul 7 '19 at 0:52

$\begingroup$ There's no need to migrate the question, just post a new one with the exact same body text at MO (if it is appropriate, I don't think I'm fit to judge). Like Gerry Myerson said, be sure to link the MSE post on the MO one if you do decide to post it there (and vice versa). $\endgroup$ – YiFan Jul 7 '19 at 3:57
