A couple of months ago I ask a question on integration of a complex function right here: Need help on this integral $\int \frac{6x^{3}+7x^2-12x+1}{\sqrt{x^2+4x+6}}dx$

For some reasons this post is deleted and the comment section is lost. Is there anyway to restore this post and the comment section underneath it. If this is not possible, can you restore this post for 24 hours so that I can print screen the comment section.

This question is very precious to me, please help, don't delete it.

    $\begingroup$ This should be on math.meta, not math. $\endgroup$ – J.G. Oct 27 at 21:12

$\begingroup$ @JamesWarthington: New? Your profile says "member for 2 years, 4 months", and you have asked 88 questions over that time span. $\endgroup$ – Nate Eldredge Oct 27 at 21:58

$\begingroup$ Anyhow the question is not deleted, and there are lots of comments on the question's single answer. Are you saying there were also comments on the question itself? $\endgroup$ – Nate Eldredge Oct 27 at 22:01

$\begingroup$ The timeline for that post. So it was deleted until today when LeBlanc casted the last undelete vote. $\endgroup$ – Arctic Char Oct 28 at 4:50

$\begingroup$ Only site moderators can restore deleted comments. You may raise a flag (in that post) and choose "in need for moderator attention", then ask what can be done about the deleted comments. $\endgroup$ – Arctic Char Oct 28 at 4:52

$\begingroup$ @ArcticChar IIRC site moderators can only restore comments deleted by a site moderator. They can see, but cannot restore comments deleted by the author. $\endgroup$ – Jyrki Lahtonen Oct 28 at 4:55
  • $\begingroup$ @JyrkiLahtonen This I really do not know (I didn't even think about the possible scenarios). Thanks for pointing that out. $\endgroup$ – Arctic Char Oct 28 at 5:02

$\begingroup$ @ArcticChar The section "When can comments be undeleted?" in the FAQ post on comments confirms what Jyrki Lahtonen said above. $\endgroup$ – Martin Sleziak Oct 28 at 5:49

$\begingroup$ @ArcticChar I'm pretty sure I casted the first undelete vote not the last one (not sure why the timeline looks like that, but perhaps it's reversed by default). I also posted it in Gentle, see U46. $\endgroup$ – Nyssa Oct 28 at 6:13

$\begingroup$ The linked question has exactly one deleted comment: the duplicate comment. The answer has three deleted comments, all by the OP, all of which were posted twice, and had one copy deleted. $\endgroup$ – Asaf Karagila Oct 28 at 6:14
  • $\begingroup$ @LeBlanc Oops. So I misinterpret the ordering (I assumed that the OP must had casted an undelete vote first). $\endgroup$ – Arctic Char Oct 28 at 6:16
  • $\begingroup$ No problem! @JamesWarthington if the question it's precious to you and you don't want it deleted, you can bring some context (to the original question atleast) to even get it reopened, see here. $\endgroup$ – Nyssa Oct 28 at 6:32
