A asked the question Can hyperbolic geometry be described using something that is similar to quaternions but not biquaternions? and answered my own question. About 9 hours later, it got closed with a box telling me to explain why it's relevant to me and the community. How can a person see all by themself like a God what's going on in the community and how small and insignificant the question would be? Wouldn't it work better to do it collaboratively bottom up? Or does it not come naturally to more than a small fraction of the community to discuss it and do that bottom up?

$\begingroup$ I find it hard to tell how rhetorical your question here is, but if you want to discuss your question first and get help in shaping it the best you can, then there are chatrooms for that. $\endgroup$
