Tags that appear on the blacklist fall into any number of categories: - redundant - tags that repeat a site's scope, name or focus add nothing to the categorisation. An example would be the [tag:zoo] tag on a site about zoos. - meta tags - tags should define the content of the question and not its character. A long fallen one, [tag:subjective] is an example of such. These tags are automatically removed from a site and blocked from being created. ### See also - [What happens to zombie tags?](http://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/40724/what-currently-happens-to-zombie-tags) - [tag-info for tag-blacklist at meta.SO](https://meta.stackexchange.com/tags/tag-blacklist/info)
