This tag is used for posts that are related to merging multiple StackExchange accounts of the same user. A user may have multiple accounts due to the one of the following possible scenarios:
- One account was created using OpenID whereas the other one is a cookie based account
- One is an unregistered account and the other is registered account
- Anonymously asked questions, which are now required to be linked with an OpenID account?
- To claim an unregistered user
If you have access to both of your accounts, you can merge your duplicate accounts yourself.
