Hades, Underworld Emperor (冥王ハーデス; meiö hadesu; Κόλαση Αυτοκράτορας Άδης) is the Greek God of the Dead and Lord of the Underworld, as seen in the Saint Seiya Franchise. Alongside his brothers Zeus and Poseidon, he is one of the Three Sacred Emperors. They stand above the other Olympians and are considered the most powerful deities in the entire universe.
During the Era of Myth, Hades was a God who, while ruling over Darkness and the Dead, proved fair with all humans, enforcing his justice upon all souls. Those who committed atrocities as living would pay for their sins within the depths of Hades, and those who proved virtuous enough were allowed to find bliss in Elysium. However, those times are long gone.
Hades grew colder, melancholic, and furious with the passing of the decades. His nature as a righteous god treated humanity with respect slowly turned into one of pure hatred and disgust. Humanity endlessly repeated their past sins and fell deeper and deeper into a pool of violence, suffering, and corruption. Even the gods who ruled over and guided them became forgotten and ridiculed as superstitious tales as time passed.
Now, Hades wishes nothing for the total demise of humanity, cleansing the Earth of its impurity and bringing salvation to their souls in the absolute black of death. Once it is done, the Earth will be completely dark. Neither the Sun nor the Heavens' light could penetrate. And only then the new world and humanity will be rebuilt from scratch.

Attack Potency: Low Multiverse level (Stronger than Thanatos, and Hypnos) | Low Multiverse level (Created Hell, the Hyperdimension, and Elysium, and sustained them through his Will. Could have easily killed Athena if he wasn't holding back)
Speed: Infinite Speed (Has a higher Cosmo level than Hypnos and Thanatos) | Infinite Speed (Attacked all the God Cloth Bronze Saints such as Pegasus Seiya among them at the same time with one attack. None of them could react to it)
