The Count
I am teaching myself to program, since it would seem to be something the world now demands of mathematicians. Python for now. SQL as I must.
I also enjoy enumerative combinatorics (counting). My master's thesis dealt with abelian difference sets, their uses and constructions, existence proofs, and such. I may do my doctorate someday, but we shall see. I am tired and old, and I do not like formal academia very much.
I do like free jazz, my dog, and my wife. That is not an ordered list. I play the double bass and most guitar-related instruments. I record ambient black metal that I will likely never release.
