comment Request: Review Queue Activity Differences
@AdrianKeister Then my position implies that I am completely fine with this and that this marginal number of reviews does not need special care and attention.

comment Request: Review Queue Activity Differences
To provide a dissenting opinion: How bad is it really that a few individuals can keep up with moderation? The power of the other users is not away should the few stop their activities... You could argue about "experience" but an honest assessment of a post is definitely enough for a "good" review in any queue. If OTOH the current reviewers are doing their reviews in a way that is considered bad, this would be something else. But that is not the topic of this meta thread. In summary: Just let the moderation be handled by whoever wants to do it; the daily limits sufficiently ensure the balance.

comment Can we please STOP closing and deleting old posts with answers?
@QthePlatypus I have to agree with you. We established that timing influences the desirability of deletion, in line with best practice to not retrofit today's norms on the past by means of deletion (for closure separate assessment is required). This should factor in any compromise to be reached.

@QthePlatypus If negative feedback is a poor teaching tool, you seem to imply positive feedback is a good teaching tool. So what effect does it have to reward answers to poor questions with upvotes and other positive feedback? (Admittedly this applies more to recent bad questions.)

So... has the time come? Should we attempt to draft a compromise? Should we attempt to draft an approach to drafting a compromise?

In addition to the bullet points, a remark to that extent may be posted in the chatroom The Crusade of Answers for which this stream of questions is an important area of attention.

@D.R. You've been given links to five other posts which address your concern to quite some extent. What, if anything, is missing from these discussions? Maybe it is possible to make the underlying question that you still seem to have (which your proposal attempts to address) a separate meta question which can discuss the problem and its solutions (instead of risking to conflate the issue and the proposed solution)?

comment Does the reputation system encourage easy answers and low quality questions?
@stressedout Why do you think that these new mechanisms will magically ease the maintenance burden? It will quickly be clear which tags reward more reputation, and those tags will be added more often. This might even be defensible if I use cool axiom independence techniques to prove an elementary-set-theory question. And I for sure don't want to be bothered with the meta wars about which tags should be in which category. I'm sorry, but nothing is ever easy, and complex problems demand well-thought solutions.
