Quality of questions
Quora has large amount of low quality questions. For instance, there are a lot of homework questions and PSQ’s there and some questions there are very trivial.
For example, the question may be like this:
What is the least number by which $2500$ must be multiplied in order to make it a perfect cube?
Firstly, the question is very broad. Number can be negative, positive, or real.
Second reason is that most questions on Quora are answerable by either Prime Factorization or induction.
Also, on Quora, you (nearly always) cannot give additional context to your question and your efforts unlike here, and it is nearly impossible to avoid “no clue” questions there.
As an example, if you say:
This is a question from a contest in our school and see my effort in the comments section
Quora Content Review will (nearly certainly) always mark your question as “needing revision” and if that happens, the question will no longer appear in the search results and you will have to go to the OP’s account to see that question.
There is also a lot of PSQ’s on Quora and it is always well received there and attracts users to answer it, unlike here. Also PSQ’s on Quora usually have around $2000$ to $3000$ views.
This PSQ, for example, is not received here, but when asked on Quora, some users will answer it quickly.
Occasionally, there are some questions on Quora that have the word “urgent” on the title of their question and sometimes, this also attracts users to answer the question. Usually, these kind of questions is also well received there, unlike here. The questions (on Quora) that contain “urgent” usually have $1000$ to $1500$ views.
And the last one, Quora has a lot of duplicate questions, which is why it is hard to navigate the site.
If you want to provide additional context to your question, you have to say “please see the comments section for additional context” and hope that Quora Content Review will not mark your question as “needing revision”.
Additionally, Quora Prompt Generator posts every hour a question that is almost always a either extremely trival, or poor phrased question.
An example is this.
Another reason is that when a low quality question on Quora gets answered, the question cannot be deleted, even if the answer is “collapsed”(needing improvement).
You also cannot delete an answer on a question on Quora.
The biggest thing is that you can be paid for asking questions on Quora. Although there is an policy that a question has high number of views or follows Quora policies, this is hardly enforced.
Unfortunately, there is no way to “close” a question there, so there is no way to stop people answering low quality questions, so on Quora.
Quality of answers
Quora supports AI answers, particularly Chat GPT answers, and the reason is that using AI takes less time than writing an answer that is “authored” by a human.
As a result, there is no policy on Quora that prohibits the use of AI tools to answer a question.
Due to this, sometimes I even have to put the phrase “Don’t use Chat GPT” on the title of my question.
Quora has also “Quora+”, which is basically a paywall, and you have to subscribe to see that answer.
I don’t like this also because firstly, the answer is (a lot of the times) either wrong, or have typos.
Second, if the question is about homework, then someone will quickly answer it, then put their answer behind paywall. This is also a reason why Quora+ is bad, because it encourages the users there to answer low-quality questions to earn money.
Another reason is that there is a time where a Quora+ user posted an answer generated by AI and put it behind a paywall. This is very bad since all answers putted behind a paywall must be well-written and “authored” by human.
Sometimes, users on Quora do not either understand the question or read carefully the question.
An example is this, where I asked what is the last three digits of $185^{99}$ in base fourteen, and he gave an incorrect answer, since instead of using $\pmod{8}$ and $\pmod{343}$, he used $\pmod{8}$ and $\pmod{125}$, as if I were never specified the base.
Also, answers in Quora occasionally contain either spam or nude photos, and sometimes that answer does not get deleted.
And lastly, on Quora, answers occasionally contain profanity or offensive words, which is why sometimes I ignore that answer.

to the end of the Quora link should work as a workaround. I have updated the link to the Quora post about comparison with SE. Maybe you can try the link after this edit @gnometorule $\endgroup$
